Mission, Vision &
The Mission
Do What Matters is a non-profit organization that empowers and supports Christian families through the foster care or adoption process.
The Vision
The vision of Do What Matters is to see the Church changing lives and eternities by leading the way in foster care, adoption, and caring for single mothers.
Core Values
Our core values are based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. We are a Christian organization that believes the Bible is the handbook for life.
Family
We believe family matters. Family is the unit by which God intends to demonstrate His love and character to His children. Families shape how the next generation learns about and loves God and how they work to expand His Kingdom.
Life
We believe all life is valuable. Because life is valuable, we are willing to make personal sacrifices for the sake of others. Every person was made on purpose for a unique purpose.
Action
Values are meaningless unless we act upon them. We don't want to just shout our values and beliefs from rooftops, but instead take actions that align with them. When we see a problem, we strive to make a difference and help others to do the same.
The Church
The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. As the Church, we have a responsibility to care for those who are hurting, hungry, alone, or unsafe. The Church should lead the way for change through our actions.
Adoption
The way God saved us is by adopting us into his family. We can follow His example by creating families that represent the family we were brought in to.
